NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health & Safety Management Professionals

The NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health & Safety Management Professionals is a replacement qualification for the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.

The NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health & Safety Management Professionals is made up of the following three units :

Unit DN1 (2 weeks) ‘Know’ – workplace health and safety principles
Unit DN2 (2 weeks) ‘Do’ –  controlling workplace health issues
Unit DN3 (2 weeks) ‘Do’ –  controlling workplace safety issues

The qualification requires a minimum of 191 taught hours, plus 144 recommended self-study hours and 140 assessment hours

Units DN1, DN2, DN3 can be studied and completed in any order

There are no mandatory qualification entry requirements but it is strongly recommended learners have undertaken the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. The Diploma syllabus assumes that learners will have achieved this level of prior learning.
