Quick answer

What is racking inspection training?

Racking inspection training prepares warehouse staff to carry out routine in-house inspections of pallet racking: understanding its limitations, spotting and grading damage, and reporting defects. KeyOstas delivers it as a one-day in-company course, including hands-on inspection of your own racking.

Trains warehouse staff to carry out routine in-house racking inspections
Covers racking components, damage grading and hazard spotting
Includes a hands-on inspection of your own racking
Certificate of attendance for every delegate
Damaged pallet racking can collapse, and the loads it holds make that catastrophic. Racking should be checked regularly: a routine visual inspection by a trained member of the warehouse team, alongside a periodic expert inspection. This course builds that in-house competence. It covers the legal background, the technical limitations of racking systems, the component parts, how damage is graded by severity, and the practical skill of inspecting racking, raising defects and following a clear reporting process. It trains your own team for the routine inspection role.
