Quick answer

What is First Aid at Work Requalification?

First Aid at Work Requalification is a two-day course that renews a First Aid at Work certificate. It refreshes and re-assesses the skills of an existing workplace first aider. KeyOstas delivers it in-company, accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB), and it issues a new certificate valid for three years.

A two-day course to renew a First Aid at Work certificate
For existing first aiders whose FAW certificate is still valid
FAIB-accredited, issuing a new three-year certificate
Refreshes and formally re-assesses the full first aider skills
A First Aid at Work certificate lasts three years. To stay a qualified first aider, the holder must renew it, and the Requalification course is how. Over two days, delivered across at least twelve hours, it refreshes the full range of first aid at work skills and re-assesses the first aider against the standard. It should be taken before the current certificate expires. If a certificate has already lapsed, the first aider needs the full three-day First Aid at Work course instead.
