The Health and Safety Awareness course provides a practical summary of health and safety, welfare and environmental issues identifying individual responsibilities for looking after themselves and others, what the employer’s duties are and what should be done if they think anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk.
This Health and Safety Awareness course is also an alternative route to the QCF Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment for the CSCS Labourer Card

This Site Safety Plus course is a popular route for anyone looking to take their first step towards obtaining a CSCS Labourers (Green) Card. This one day course can be for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry. The Health and Safety Awareness course gives delegates an awareness of health and safety and how it affects their daily role, including

The CITB is the Industry Training Board for the construction industry and a partner in Construction Skills, the Sector Skills Council.
